Double yellow lines, as requested by residents have been approved by DCC, at the entrance to Orleigh Cross estate, Broadlands Avenue junction with HIghweek Rd, Barton Drive junction with Manor Road, Ashburton Rd junction with Mapleton Close and Wain Lane junction with Highweek Rd. These are all to stop inappropriate parking at junctions to maintain visibility. At Mapleton Close turning head an additional unrestricted parking area is to be provided to alleviate parking pressures. These should all be implemented by the end of this financial year, at the end of March.
