A huge thank you to all those who voted for me on Thursday in Bushell Ward, and also to those that supported my fellow candidate, Rob Hayes. We were both re-elected. Thank you also to all those who worked for the campaign both in Bushell, Newton Abbot and across the whole of Teignbridge. The Liberal Democrats scored a remarkable victory across Teignbridge and now have a majority over all other parties on Teignbridge Council. The Lib Dems are therefore now running the Council with Gordon Hook, Leader of the Council.
There is much to do, and turning the ship around won’t happen overnight, but we are all keen to move quickly to address those important issues that came up on the doorstep when we were campaigning.
I want to assure all local residents that while my responsibilities will now increase, I will always be available to the residents of my Ward. Please feel free to contact me if you think I can help with any local council-related issue.
